About the event

This unique 10 sessions yoga series  will combine elements of Vinyasa flow with targeted strengthening exercises to create a well-rounded practice.

DAYS: APRIL 10, 17 & 24.

MAY 1, 15, 22 & 26 ( There is No session on May 8)

JUN 5, 12 & 19

What to expect:

  • Core strengthening: Building a strong core is essential for all athletes, leading to improved balance, power, and stability during competition.
  • Improved mobility: Dedicated mobility drills will target specific joints and muscle groups commonly used in curling and other activities, enhancing their range of motion and reducing stiffness.
  • Stress reduction and recovery: This program incorporates elements to promote relaxation and aid in post-workout recovery.
  • Enhanced flexibility: Increased flexibility allows for greater range of motion, improving performance in various sports.
  • Injury prevention: By strengthening muscles, improving flexibility, and enhancing mobility, yoga helps reduce the risk of common sports injuries.

What to bring:

Please come in comfortable clothing, yoga mat & a bottle of water

Meet your instructor

Sofie is a yoga and meditation teacher, content creator and event facilitator from Oakville, Ontario. Her teachings incorporate a fusion of physical postures, meditation, and breathing techniques to guide her students toward a deeper understanding of their bodies and minds. She is dedicated to aiding her students in establishing a strong connection with themselves, fostering increased self-awareness, and nurturing a sense of belonging within a community. Additionally, Sofie emphasizes the importance of feeling good in one's body and enhancing movement capabilities.
