It resets the central nerve system, boosting energy levels and nurturing physical and emotional wellbeing. Zazen Meditation offers a variety of practices that you could choose to register for as individual guided classes or use the space for your own self guided session. ​

The focus of awareness is on an element of the breath, a part of the body, pattern of thought or emotion. Props are used to maximize Physical comfort and progressive relaxation.

She completed the 500 AYT Ayurveda Therapist Training, 200 Yoga Teacher Training and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. With her own experience and knowledge she uses integrative practices of mindfulness for mental wellness and holistic medicine based on evidence of the sciences of Ayurveda and Yoga. Monica also has extensive training in Yoga for special needs, Restorative Yoga and emotional regulation.
Attend a class with Monica and you discover the warm tone of her voice. The energy and a sense of safeness that her classes are infused with allow everyone to open the space for groundedness, comfort and deep soul connection.
Monica is an active advocate of mental health in her community. As part of her continuous efforts to help break the stigma about mental health illnesses, she has extensively collaborated with and sponsored non-profit organizations including: Defeat Depression Ontario, The Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and Halton Families for Families, CAMH and Youth Mental Health Canada.

Mary has been fascinated by energy healing modalities nearly her whole life, having started using crystals and aromatherapy nearly 35 years ago. In the last 10 years, she has become more involved with and studied more intensely, Energy Medicine and the Mind-Body connection, using it for her own personal growth and transformative healing.
